bud vase #3

My third little flower arrangement. They’re usually made from the scraps and leftovers of my bigger arrangements, but I think I always end preferring the little guys more.

Oh look, a background that isn’t beige! I think they call this.. growth?

I like the composition (I’m enjoying the overhead shots recently) and I like the flowers, although I know I’ve done better ones in the past. But I kinda like the loosey-gooseyness of the lines and colour blocks. It’s not perfect, but you still know it’s a flower, so it works.

Then I edited it a bit afterwards, blurring some of the leaves and flowers like they are in the original photograph but… it didn’t make a significant difference. (The blur is in the right image, in case you can’t spot it. It’s subtle. Even I can’t really see it and I’m the one who drew it, lol.)
